This workshop will give you new insights on the performance of traditional as well as innovative stormwater BMPs. Pollutant removal and volume reduction performance from recent studies will be summarized. The session will give performance report cards and design implications for bioretention, green roofs, permeable pavement, infiltration, bioswales, ponds, and wetlands. Testing and product acceptable protocols for proprietary devices will also be addressed. The session will also cover how performance factors influence BMP selection and design. The session will be conducted by the Center for Watershed Protection, with contributing material from Dr. Bill Hunt at N.C. State University.
